GIVING BACK

 

Mangrove Maintenance and Cleaning is committed to giving back to the communities we work in.    Our profits are returned to our parent company Mangrove Housing, a local charity that provides housing for vulnerable members or our community. 

In 2018 Mangrove Housing launched the Forgotten Women project, an initiative to provide suitable housing for the fastest growing homeless population in Australia, women aged over 55. 

 

The Forgotten Women initiative is designed to bring a range of benefits to women over 55 years and the wider community:

  • secure, safe and affordable housing

  • improved mental and physical health 

  • reconnection with the community

  • independent living

  • improved confidence, self-esteem and quality of life

  • social inclusion

  • ability to age ‘in place’

  • reduced demand on crisis, health and aged care services
